Description

We are actively recruiting for FAA Repair Technician candidates for a temp to hire opportunity with a client in the New Hope area. Interested candidates must have FAA Certificate, or have the ability to obtain FAA Repair Certification.

FAA Repair Technician Job Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent.
• 5 -10 years similar work experience in manufacturing or service environment or a Technical Degree and equivalent experience.
• FAA Certificate, or have the ability to obtain FAA Repair Certification as stated in CFR 65 (18 months minimum experience in related field).
• Must be proficient in reading and writing English.
• Will be required to pass J-STD & IPC-A-610 certification. Ability to identify problems in the assembly process and/or with assembly components and to further, address such problems.
• Possesses knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications and SMT processing systems.
• Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow.
• Ability to manufacture / test products with best methods or procedures in situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods.
• Has ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in the applications appropriate to the area e.g.: Word, Excel and documentation control systems.
• Scheduled overtime may be required. Ability to work on week-ends if necessary.
• Possesses foundation skills and appropriate technical / leadership skills

FAA Repair Technician Job Description:
• Responsible for the repair, overhaul, modification, test, diagnosis and inspection faults of aircraft electronic and Electro-mechanical devices in support of FAA Repair Station.
• Ability to create work instructions to analyze, troubleshoot and rework aircraft components in accordance with provided documentation including component maintenance manuals.
• Performs complex tests, debugging, fault analysis, modification of returned hardware.
• Functions as the focal point for all FAA repair station technical issues.
• Possesses extensive knowledge and skills related to soldering and rework procedures for all products, and ability to provide technical guidance to operators.
• Ability to perform tasks related to assembly modification, and design changes.

Compensation for the FAA Repair Technician Position

The starting salary for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/Depending on experience
