Title: Mold Operator

Shift: 2nd: Monday – Friday, 3:00pm-12:30am
Pay: $16.00 + shift differential = $18.72

Mold Operator Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screen
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience
  • Basic knowledge of functions of an injection molding press or transfer molding presses
  • Basic knowledge of mold setup and mold maintenance (1-2 years’ experience)
  • Experience with thermo-set and rubber materials a plus, but not required
  • Strong microscope abilities
  • Knowledge of basic Math
  • Strong English (written and verbal)
  • Capable of reading blueprints and technical documents
  • Foundational experience with measurement tools (caliper, drop indicator, micrometer, and MicroVAX
  • Ability to promote and maintain a safe work environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to occasionally: lift 10-50lbs, carry 10-50lbs and to stand, bend and stoop

Mold Operator Job Description:

  • Responsible for keeping the molding machine maintained and marking quality parts
  • Perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are made
  • Read blueprints to manufacture and measure parts
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience
  • Basic knowledge of functions of an injection molding press or transfer molding presses
  • Basic knowledge of mold setup and mold maintenance (1-2 years’ experience)
  • Experience with thermo-set and rubber materials a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of basic Math
  • Strong English (written and verbal)
  • Capable of reading blueprints, and technical documents
  • Foundational experience with measurement tools (caliper, drop indicator, micrometer, MicroVu, etc.)
  • Ability to promote and maintain a safe work environment
  • Use microscope to de-flash and inspect parts
  • Read and follow all routine machine procedures
  • Complete all other work-related duties as assigned
