Shipping/Receiving Team Lead Job Description:
• Oversee, plan, and organize the department including responsibility for quality, turnaround time, efficiency, cost, and employee motivation
• Assist in hiring, coaching, counseling employees to building a strong, productive team
• Owner of department-specific boards to address any workflow issues
• Develop and mentor team technicians daily
• Supports positive collaboration across teams, managing any necessary conflict proactively
• Maintain quality standards and process conformance, direct quality improvements in the product & process, and monitor & coordinate turnaround time of their respective product or process
• Initiate and support continuous improvement efforts
• Work within a team and with other teams to improve processes
• Support International production efforts
• May need to interact directly with customers
• Off-Shift and Saturday coverage will be included
• Prepare and participate in ISO, FDA, and Internal Audit
• Other duties as assigned

Shipping/Receiving Team Lead Job Requirements:
• Comfortable speaking to larger groups of employees
• Technically competent team building skills, acting as a coach, mentor and teacher
• Work within a team and with other teams to improve processes, by taking ownership of area
• Demonstrated leadership in a highly technical environment
• Desire to develop into a people-manager of a dedicated team of employees
• Identifies and aides in driving change daily to improve overall team metrics
• Four-year degree (BS), Engineering, Management, or equivalent area of study, preferred
